Harvard Business School 2+2: Accepted!

After a morning of errands, I went up the elevator and down the stairs, into my new dorm room. I opened my laptop, checked my email.

There, a letter—from Harvard Business School. After months of hoping, I was admitted today into the first cohort of HBS 2+2.

It is rare for me to make an announcement here like this. But the internet has played a surprisingly important role in this whole process for me. And so as I was sitting, still shaking from the news, wondering who else I could tell, this nebulous space seemed necessary.

Thank you, everyone. Your support and hope made this impossible thing seem possible in the first place. I am stunned and elated that the impossible came true.

Congratulations Diana! I think Saturday's Bon Voyage Celebration might have to morph into a combine Bday and Congratulatory event! At least, I will have a drink or two in your honor! (any excuse, right?)

Thank you so much for the congratulations, everyone! My head is still spinning. TCU—I *think* we should be connected on Facebook now, I tried to friend both 2+2 Chrises. :) Nami, thank you for the kind words! They accepted 106 this year—about half engineering/science students, half liberal arts. Lara: any excuse is right. Can't wait!

Hi, and congratulations Diana! I was also running a search on the 2+2 Program information when your blog popped up, and I was interested in asking you a few questions? I know this posting is a bit old, but if you do happen to have a few minutes, I would love to hear back from you (I could not send this via email for some reason). Hope you're doing well this semester!

Hi Diana,
Great job getting in, though it is a bit late for kudos. I was wondering if you might be interested in giving me some advice, though I can see no reason for you to do so besides helping a stranger out. I'm a current junior at Georgia Tech, and getting into this program has sort of consumed my life for the past 2 months. The short of it is, I'm looking for advice and your name popped up on Google, :). You can contact me on param16k5@gmail.com

Thanks in advance.
